Handcrafted folding hunting knife MASTERPIECE Washi. The knife is made from Damascus steel. The blade is made from layered steel composite forging. In this knife, there are 66 layers. This forging creates a unique pattern. Between these layers is an inserted VG10 steel core. The knife has a hardness of 60-62 HRC, which ensures long-lasting sharpness and lifespan.

The shape of the handle ensures a comfortable and secure grip. The handle is made of ebony wood. Included in the package is a case made of cowhide, crafted with precision by hand.

Damascus steel is made by repeatedly forging, layering, and re-forging several strips of steel with different properties, resulting in a characteristic pattern that can have dozens to hundreds of layers. Damascus steel is long-lasting sharp and durable due to the combination of materials with different properties.

The core steel is one of the highest-rated steels, VG-10. Highly abrasion-resistant stainless steel.

Steel V Gold 10 is commonly known as VG-10 or sometimes V-Kin-10 (kin is the abbreviation for "gold" in Japanese).
